Since 1978, YARGICI has been one of the cornerstones of the Turkish ready-to-wear industry. For the lighting of its newly built 2,500 m2 three-story headquarters in Beyoğlu, YARGICI chose LAMP 83. In the work carried out, the simplicity and elegance inherent in YARGICI’s designs became a starting point for LAMP 83.
To ensure the comfort of the team working all day in the office spaces, product selection and placement were made with the glare factor in mind. In this section, the pendants from the ARK product family were produced in various lengths to suit desk sizes. In the corridors, the aim was to create a softer lighting that would provide a homogeneous feel and a sense of transition, in contrast to the brighter lighting in office areas. To achieve this, uninterrupted light throughout the corridor was provided by the continuous ARK LED recessed solution. The longest uninterrupted light line in the project was designed to be 64 meters. The DALI dim version of the ARK linear pendant products allowed the light in the training room to be controlled according to the needs. In the kitchen area, the JOY LED product, with its light output positioned deeply to avoid discomfort and glare, created a pleasant ambiance. Finally, IP54 Solo products were used in wet areas.
R. Volkan Öztezcan, the interior architect at YARGICI, described the project as follows:
For our office lighting, we wanted to create a design that was both compliant with standards and parallel to the lighting character of YARGICI’s stores. Therefore, while providing a suitable working environment for our colleagues in terms of lighting, we also aimed to match the light color and lighting levels in our stores. Additionally, we wanted to use products that aligned with the architectural design of our office. Thanks to the wide product range of LAMP 83, we were able to easily select the products we wanted. As YARGICI, we wanted to use locally made products of European quality in our office, and we successfully achieved this with LAMP 83. The ‘LAMP 83 project group,’ which provided us with the correct lighting design, also became our solution partner through quick revisions and fast feedback. Lighting design, product selection, placement of products in the project, DiaLUX simulations, and legend presentations were other factors that set LAMP 83 apart. Additionally, an electrical engineer from the LAMP 83 team continuously supported us with the project work, product and sample presentations, delivery, and after-sales services. Therefore, as YARGICI, we chose to work with LAMP 83, and we are very satisfied with this decision.
