With more than 100 years of commercial history, German chemical and plastic manufacturer Biesterfeld Spezialchemie GmbH’s head office in Turkey was illuminated by LAMP 83.
LAMP 83, which was chosen as the lighting solution partner of LS Design Architecture, which made the interior design of the 660 m2 office located in Maltepe, Istanbul, has added a new one to its success in its international customer portfolio.
An Energetic, Pleasant and Professional Working Environment
LAMP 83’s expert project team, which set out to provide a pleasant, energetic and professional working environment for office employees, achieved the ambience desired by the architectural group in the office, which is almost all open ceiling, with special production linear and decorative pendants as well as standard products. In the project where a total of 125 lighting devices were used, only LED solutions were utilised in consideration of energy saving. In addition to providing a warm working environment in general, 3000K light colour was chosen in order to increase the physical and psychological comfort of the employees.
In the ‘Biesterfeld Square’, where office employees meet, exchange information and socialise, specially produced pendants of different sizes and diameters were used to support the square effect by emphasising the seating groups.
Considering the comfort of the employees, ARK pendants specially produced according to the lengths of the desks in the open office section; Joy spot luminaires providing point lighting were preferred for the flora on the edges of the departments and the paintings on the walls. Thanks to the dimming of the specially produced Ark pendants used in the meeting rooms, a light level that can be adjusted according to preference has been achieved. On the other hand, it was aimed to achieve a dramatic lighting in the executive rooms.
