The lighting of the project, which was designed by the Mimari Studio team, was worked with the LAMP 83 design team. The lighting project, which was simulated by LAMP 83 with 3D visuals in computer environment, managed to fully adapt to the project designed by Mimari Studio.
LAMP 83 team worked intensively and produced special solutions to meet all the needs together with the design studio for the project, which includes many unique luminaires together, and once again demonstrated its mastery in this field. In addition to LAMP 83’s products from ARK-S, MINI, OPTIO and JOY-S families, many special production luminaires were also produced and used in the project.
On the upper floor of the project consisting of 2 floors, 60 metres long curvilinear pendant lighting elements were preferred around the core, and the design that the design team thought as a continuation of the architectural form was revealed. On the desks in the open office area; specially shaped 3-piece linear luminaire groups designed by the architectural team were realised in the LAMP 83 factory and became an important factor in the lighting of the project. In addition, special luminaires with the same form as the ceiling were embedded between the suspended ceilings.
A special honeycomb ceiling was designed for the area designed by the architectural team as a co-operation and meeting area. For the lighting of this area, LAMP 83 and BARRISOL worked together to produce a special lighting solution in line with the design of the architectural team. On the inner surfaces of the pentagonal forms on the ceiling, a homogeneous illumination at the desired level was achieved by using strip-shaped lighting in harmony with the form.
While our DEEP products from MINI family were preferred in the downlight areas of the project, our products from OPTIO and JOY-S families were used in circulation areas.
Architectural Studio founders Önder Kul and Ayça Kul expressed BASF Office works in the following words;
‘We have taken employee well-being and employee happiness to the centre of the project. BASF Turkey team also prioritised this and we have brought together biophilic design with employee well-being, human well-being, which we have been working on for many years. We tried to create a lighting design where each employee will feel comfortable and can intervene in their own working standards. Especially in the Town Hall section, we tried to offer a general working environment where BASF’s own cellular pattern, the Honeycomb pattern, is at the forefront and all lighting is dimmable and dimmable.
