Having closed the year with an award, LAMP 83 aims higher

LAMP 83, which has been steadily growing and developing in recent years, closed the year successfully thanks to completed prestigious projects and winning 1st place trophy in ‘Energy Efficiency Awards’ by Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ICI), starts 2018 with even bigger targets

Pioneer of Turkish lighting sector thanks to its 55 year of history, LAMP 83, successfully completed a year full of prestigious projects. LAMP 83 also crowned the year 2017 by winning 1st place trophy in ‘ICI Energy Efficiency Awards’ in ‘SME Energy Efficieny Products’ category, that is organized for the first time by Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ICI), so once again proved its success in terms of energy efficiency.

LAMP 83, which achieved the target growth rate based on turnover compared to the previous year, plans to increase production volume with new steps to be taken in 2018. LAMP 83 was highly praised for the Wiggle, the new product that is opening the doors of unlimited architectural lighting by virtue of its ability to be used in the desired shape and length. In the new year LAMP 83 aims to diversify its product range and serviced sectors by using new generation technologies, especially “Human Centric Lighting” by focusing on R&D studies.

While adding Koton, one the giant brands of Turkish fashion sector to strengthen its customer portfolio in retail business, LAMP 83 also completed interior lighting and LED conversion projects of Rönesans Holding’s three shopping malls based in İstanbul and İzmir. Moreover, together with Vadi Istanbul Shopping Mall and Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital, LAMP 83 has completed some more major and important projects such as interior lighting of Vakıfbank’s new administration building.

Meanwhile LAMP 83 continues to intensify its presence in the export market, especially in the European market, the company also improved its cooperations further with some architectural offices, lighting design studios, project companies and public authorities.

In 2018, LAMP 83, which will showcase itself at the Light + Building Fair, held every two years in Frankfurt, is the biggest meeting of the lighting industry in the international arena, and is continuing to work on offering new product designs that are expected to attract great attention.

In the light of these developments, LAMP 83’s Executive Board Member and CEO Mr. Batu Ceyişakar evaluating the year 2017 and commenting about 2018 targets, ‘We close the year 2017 with prestigious projects that we have implemented for different sectors and a growth rate that we want to achieve. In parallel with the growth and development of the company this year, we also increased our staff and increased employment. In 2018, we aim to diversify our activities towards foreign markets, especially with product range and innovations in service areas we give to our customers. All in all, as in the past, we are working flat out to take LAMP 83 into higher levels.’
