LAMP 83 undertakes the illumination of central campus of Altınbaş University in Istanbul, which continues its breakthrough in the international education field.
With its nine faculties and more than 3,000 foreign students out of total more than 10.000, Altınbaş University is taking solid steps to become a respected international science center. Their central campus of 6.500 m2 that is located in Istanbul has been illuminated by LAMP 83.
Within the scope of the project, all the spaces such as classrooms, lecture rooms, workshops and laboratories, lecturers and executive rooms, offices and canteen were enlightened by LAMP 83 with its Ark, Bright, Pride and Joy product families. A total of 1.203 products including pendant, surface mounted and recessed versions were used in 45 different options.
Master Architect Ms. Ayşegül Balkan outlining the project, which was managed by her company, Ayşegül Balkan Architecture, stated that
When designing Altınbaş University, we started with the concept of “diamond” by thinking that the jewel inside of the students could come out as a result of the good education likewise treatment of a raw diamond founded in the nature. Thus our linear lines that are in contact, emerge and emphasize the continuity are integrated with LAMP 83’s highly efficient linear products.
